As with any sophisticated system, regular maintenance is required to ensure continued reliable operation. Indeed, a minimum of two maintenance checks per year are required by the British Standards associated with monitored systems.
Camwatch offers three levels of maintenance service:
Bronze – six-monthly maintenance visits, checking the operation of all components and a thorough clean of all cameras.
Silver – As per Bronze above, plus all labour charges and call-out cover at no extra charge
Gold – As per Silver above, plus cost of all replacement parts at no extra charge. NB. Standard terms exclude damage caused by the customer, intruders and acts of God, although it is possible to insure against these risks for an additional premium.
On our latest systems, there is also the option to remotely monitor the operation of the on-site equipment such that if a unit stops recording, the control room is automatically notified and an engineer can be dispatched, often before the client ever realises that there is anything wrong.
